Configuring Outlook Express

Open Outlook Express and select Accounts from the Tools menu at the top.
If this is the first time you are setting up email for Llamas.Net, click the Add button and select Mail... If you are reconfiguring an existing Llamas.Net account to verify or fix settings, highlight it and click Properties.
The Mail Account Name is a free form name used to identify this profile for send/recv, I prefer to use the email address of the profile as its identity. Fill in your Name and E-mail address fields, other fields are optional. Click the Servers tab.
enter mail.llamas.net for the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers. Fill in your userid and password. Select the checkbox next to My server requires authentication. You can optionally select to have Outlook Express to remember your password so you need not type it in, however PLEASE DON'T FORGET YOUR PASSWORD! Visit the Software Recommendations page for an application to securely store passwords.
Check both boxes for This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL). POP3 profiles will see the port change to 995 and IMAP4 profiles will change to 993. You should manually change the SMTP port from 25 to 587 to avoid any difficulties with ISPs that block access to outside mail servers. When finished, click OK
