TLS Engineer– Bank of America Corporation (Via Sapphire Technologies)
Responsible for guiding business partners through implementing enforced TLS (Transport Layer Security) for guaranteed secure email transmission.  Increased implementation rates through refining processes and applying breadth of knowledge to enhance partners understanding of TLS implementation.  Performed expert diagnosis of a commonly deployed email appliance enabling vendor to provide updates to their customers, our business partners, allowing timely and secure transmission of customers sensitive information.  Initiated project to enhance project tracking system to enable better tracking of pertinent partner data and reduce implementation times.

August 2006 to Current.

Network Developer II – Office Depot, Inc.
Responsible for Global firewall infrastructure, including North America, Europe, Australia and Japan.  Other duties include managing North American Proxy, content filtering, and DNS infrastructures.  Managed project to migrate from Microsoft Proxy 2.0 to ISA server, working in tandem with team members working to upgrade content filtering systems. Matured the global firewall infrastructure to a common hardware and software platform.  Implemented Wiki technology to record configuration and change control data for network security, enabling clear communication of customer requests and implementation details. Migrated North American firewall infrastructure to Provider-1.  Built CheckPoint VSX-1 virtual firewall environment to simulate multiple production systems on a single cluster, reducing R&D costs by $300k.  Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and VISA Payment Card Industry (PCI) audit data for Network Security team.

Database Operations Analyst - Verio
Maintain, upgrade, and support fast growing network of over 120 Silicon Graphics web servers. Developed software to enable unlimited scalability of high volume web hosting platform. Initiated security programs and authored corporate security policy and several Standard Operating Procedures. Responsible for 100% uptime of in-house and offsite Sybase database servers, including installation and maintenance of Sybase software and underlying operating systems. Other responsibilities include management of data center and perimeter security systems, Plan and implement migration to new data center with minimal downtime.

Responsible for all aspects of building a full service Internet Service Provider including purchasing, installation and configuration of remote access systems providing over 200 dial-in lines for 2000+ customers across two locations.
